NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Reba McEntire says her new sitcom "Malibu Country" is meant to entertain, but if viewers can learn something, that's "icing on the cake." McEntire plays a scorned woman who packs up and moves from Nashville to California to start a new life as a single mother. She's aiming to re-establish her country-music career, too. Not so easy in real life for older artists says McEntire. But she's grateful for all the support she's had from the music industry throughout her career. But she understands that room has to be made for new artists.
