NEW YORK (AP) -- Papa Roach singer Jacoby Shaddix kept writing singles for "The Connection" and their label kept saying, nah. Shaddix says he presented his label with "Won't Let Up" to be the lead single, and his label said it was good, but not the first single. He came back with "Gimme Back My Life," but the label reps didn't like that as a lead single either. Shaddix started to wonder about the quality of their hearing. He finally came up with "Still Swingin." That's the first single. He says it's not the deepest song in the world but it's a song to "smack 'em upside the head with the truth."
