RAINIER, Ore. – A benefit concert was held in Southeast Portland Wednesday night, to raise money for the family of slain Rainier Police Chief Ralph Painter.
A Hillsboro police officer organized the event. He was also among the local musicians playing at the benefit concert.
The concert began at 8 p.m., at Duke’s Country Bar & Grill, in SE Portland. No word yet on how much money was raised.
