The "I voted" sticker is officially gone.
Remember the days when you went to the polling place on election day, and they gave you the "I voted" sticker?
Now, almost everyone's voting absentee and you can vote anytime from mid-October to November 2nd. But King County has a creative idea--a virtual "I voted" sticker.
It's an electronic icon that you can download--for your facebook page, twitter or your blog. You can download the image from King County's Web site, or even print it out as a PDF and hang it at your desk.
For all of us who miss the polling place experience, the copy-and-paste sticker isn't exactly the same. But there's probably a small printing cost savings to taxpayers.
