PORTLAND -- As part of an Earth Day challenge, Oregon's First Lady Cylvia Hayes underwent a dramatic transformation into a character from NBC's "Grimm."

Hayes made a deal that if 1,000 people agreed to take a stand against the “phantom load,” by unplugging unused electronics in their homes and offices, she would be made up into a "Hexenbiest" by make-up artists from the show.

The challenge was part of Earth Hour's "I Will If You Will" challenge campaign.

The response was overwhelming and Hayes held up her end of the bargain. Students from Clackamas Community College's Digital Communications program shared a time lapse video of the transformation (above).

Hayes said "Grimm" is her favorite show.
