PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Oregon's longest-tenured congressman faces a second consecutive challenge from a Republican chemist with tea party support in what is expected to be the closest of the state's five congressional elections.

Tuesday's vote is Art Robinson's second attempt to unseat Democrat Peter DeFazio.

Democrat Kurt Schrader is making his second defense of his 5th District seat in a swing district against Republican Fred Thompson.

Suzanne Bonamici, a Democrat, won a special election in January to replace former Rep. David Wu. She faces Delinda Morgan for her chance at a full term.

In Oregon's sprawling 2nd District, Republican Greg Walden again faces Democratic challenger Joyce Segers.

In the third District, incumbent Democrat Earl Blumenauer is challenged by Republican Ronald Green and Progressive candidate Woody Broadnax.
