You could call it an early valentine for Daisy, the Denver Zoo's lone female red panda.
The zoo added a friend to her habitat this week, a new male red panda named Chewbacca. He came from the Detroit Zoo.
The International Union for Conservation of Nature classifies the red panda as "vulnerable".
There's hope Chewbacca and Daisy will hit it off, and keep the species going.
