VANCOUVER -- Washington Governor Jay Inslee visited students and teachers at Crestline Elementary School after it was destroyed by fire last February.
Inslee said he's focused on getting the school rebuilt quickly while saving taxpayer money.

“We talked with the superintendent about the ability to get fast funding to build this school and one of the things we want to do is make sure we have an energy efficient building. That's a way to not waste money in these school buildings,” Inslee said.
The governor and the superintendent hope to see the school reopen by the start of the school year in 2014.
