VANCOUVER – If you missed the Oregon Brewers Festival in Portland last month, there’s still a chance to sample Northwest craft brews with your beer-swilling brethren.
This weekend, more than 50 brews will be on tap at the 2nd annual Vancouver Brewfest at Esther Short Park.
Breweries from Clark County and Portland will be serving up suds alongside food vendors dishing out tasty grub.
For the hops-averse imbibers, two Clark County wineries will be pouring craft wine. There will also be plenty of music during the festival that runs from Friday, Aug. 9 through Sunday, Aug. 11.
Local musicians and classic rock cover bands will keep things lively for people wandering between tasting booths.
Tickets to the festival are $21 and include eight tasting tickets and a plastic mug. Additional tasting tickets are $1 each.
The Vancouver Brewfest runs from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
