VANCOUVER, Wash. – A therapy dog visited homeless families in need of some extra cheer this holiday season in Vancouver.

A facility called SHARE helps the homeless find resources they need to get back on their feet.

Art the therapy dog visited the two Vancouver locations Tuesday and gave lots of licks to kids at the facility with their parents.

“The kids are having a great time, they love it,” said Kathy Loter with Portland K-9 Teams.

This visit was organized by Dove Lewis Animal Hospital and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
