FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – U.S. Marshals captured a man Thursday who was mistakenly released from the Clark County Jail last Friday.
Agents arrested 20-year-old Zackary Ray Searcy in Federal Way about 2:40 p.m. Searcy was booked into the Clark County Jail on April 18, for driving with a suspended license.
Once he was in jail, Clark County detectives wanted to charge him with rendering criminal assistance for a 2012 murder at Vancouver Lake, but the paperwork for those charges hadn’t gone through to the jail yet.
He will be returned to Clark County. The jail is reviewing its policies to make sure this doesn't happen again.
