One person died and another was hurt when a Cessna-type plane crashed into a house in the 23000 block of NE 144th St. in Woodinville on Saturday afternoon.
Sheriff's office spokeswoman Cindi West said a man was declared dead at the scene and another man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. Both were traveling in the plane.
West said no one on the ground was hurt.
It was not immediately known where the plane took off from and where it was going.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration registry, the fixed-wing single engine plane is registered in Redmond and it seats four people.
