VANCOUVER -- Family and friends gathered in a downtown Vancouver church to honor a boy who died after his bike collided with a bus.
The service for 11-year-old Benjamin Fulwiler was held Saturday afternoon at the Compass Church.
The C-TRAN bus driver was headed southbound on Main Street last Saturday afternoon and had stopped for oncoming traffic. As she turned left onto E 27th Street, the sixth-grader’s bicycle hit the side of the bus.
