Woodburn man critically wounded in shooting

WOODBURN, Ore. – Police are investigating a shooting that left a Woodburn man critically wounded last Sunday.

Investigators said Abelardo Romero Renteria, 33, was shot several times around 4 a.m., near the 200 block of Hardcastle Avenue.

Renteria was rushed to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition Wednesday.
