Investigators believe 33-year-old Dennis James Knight, of Grand Ronde, was one of two suspects who entered a home on Jade Street January 28 and tried to rob the person inside, said Don Thomson of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. During the attempt, the occupant of the home was shot.
Knight is believed to frequent the Salem and Grand Ronde areas. He was described as 6-foot-4, 240 pounds, with brown hair. He has several tattoos on his arms and hands, including bear claws on the web of each hand (pictured, below).
