SWEET HOME, Ore. -- Four people have now been arrested in connection with an assault and kidnapping in Sweet Home last weekend, police said.
A 20-year-old woman told police she had gone to the home of 54-year-old Daniel Fred Schroeder, where sometime over the weekend she was physically assaulted and held against her will. She was able to leave Sunday morning while Schroeder was asleep, said Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller.
Schroeder was arrested at a Lebanon home Monday. Tuesday police arrested 33-year-old Karissa Lynett Williams and 30-year-old Joseph Raphael Gutierrez and Thursday they announced 25-year-old Michell Dawn Slay (pictured) had also been arrested.
All four were jailed on charges of first-degree kidnapping and third-degree assault, Mueller said.
