CANNON BEACH, Ore. -- A 35-year-old bicyclist is in critical condition after she was hit by a motorist while biking along Highway 101 south of Cannon Beach.
Oregon State Police say Christeen Osborn, of Hood River, was biking on the highway shoulder Saturday afternoon when a vehicle drifted into the shoulder and hit her from behind. The vehicle was driven by 78-year-old Wanda Cortese from Kennewick, Wash.
Police say Osborn was biking with her husband when the crash happened.
She was in critical condition at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland Sunday morning.
