CORVALLIS, Ore. – A brazen jewelry thief made off with $10,000 worth of rings in plain view while a Corvallis store was open for business Monday.
A security camera caught video of the woman in Anderson’s Jewelers.
She went into the store several times on Monday, even buying a pair of earrings during one of her visits.
Then, when the clerk was distracted, she grabbed one ring worth $9,500 and another with a $350 price tag.
She was described as a white woman in her 40s with brown hair and glasses. Anyone with information that may help investigators was asked to call Corvallis police.
