A Keizer man was seriously hurt when his truck missed the entrance into a rest area and crashed into a parked semi along Interstate 84 Wednesday afternoon.
Oregon State Police think a medical problem may have been a contributing factor.
The truck driven by 41-year-old Christopher Fitzgerald was pulling a semi-trailer loaded with cattle grain when it crashed through several garbage cans and into the parked semi near Arlington.
OSP said Fitzgerald was seriously hurt and taken to the hospital.
A 60-year-old driver lying in the sleeper area of the struck trailer had minor injuries.
