OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) — The parks department in Oregon City, Ore., is offering a $500 reward for information that helps convict the vandals who knocked over pioneer grave headstones at Mountain View Cemetery. Damage is estimated at more than $10,000.

Oregon City police Sgt. Matthew Paschall says a woman on her daily walk noticed the damage Sunday.

Police found about a dozen headstones knocked over and damaged in the pioneer section of the cemetery. Some of the headstones date from the 1800's.

Oregon City is south of Portland.
