MULINO, Ore -- Six teenagers were hurt in a Clackamas County rollover crash over the weekend and the driver blamed a stuck accelerator pedal, police said.

A passerby called police just before 7:30 p.m. Saturday to a single-vehicle crash on South Family Camp Road, in Mulino, said Sgt. Paul Coleman of the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.

Tashne West, 18, of Mulino, told police she had been driving the 1993 Ford Bronco at 25 mph when it suddenly accelerated and she couldn't stop it.

She pulled off to the side of the gravel road, which caused the vehicle to roll several times, Coleman said.

The six people in the SUV were not wearing seat belts. Two of them were ejected; the vehicle rolled over one of them and landed on the other's leg.

Two of the teens were taken by Life Flight to a nearby hospital. The other four were taken by ambulance.

"This accident serves as a potent reminder to wear your seat belt at all times," Coleman said.
