Ore. man accused of driving 100 mph while drunk

WEST LINN, Ore. (AP) -- A West Linn police officer arrested a Portland man accused of driving more than 100 mph while drunk.

A West Linn police spokesman says Petr Zimin of Portland was taken into custody late Monday after a chase on that began at the Willamette Falls viewpoint and ended on I-205 near Highway 213.

He says the motorist's blood-alcohol content was .11.

Oregon's legal limit is .08. Zimin was booked into the Clackamas County Jail on charges of drunken driving and reckless driving.
