MOLALLA, Ore. – A skinny man dressed in all black robbed a Molalla Subway at knifepoint Tuesday morning, police said.

Just before 9 a.m., the suspect, wielding a “long-bladed knife,” demanded the employee at the Subway at 270 N Molalla Avenue to open the register and give up the cash, said Sgt. Chris Long with the Molalla Police Department.

The robber was disguised in a black coat with a fur-lined hood, black pants, and a black scarf over his face, Long said.

He then took off on foot before hopping into a white older Honda Passport that witnesses told police was driven by a woman with blonde hair.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-10 white man between the ages of 18 and 24, police said.

Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call Molalla police at 503-655-8211.
