CLACKAMAS -- Several communities got together Saturday to protest a composting plant proposed near Wankers Corner in Clackamas County. They call their campaign "Stop the Stink."

S&H logging wants to build a 25-acre industrial composting and mining facility. Opponents argue it would be too close to two schools and could cause health problems.

The Department of Environmental Quality is studying a plan submitted by S&H to address citizen concerns
