GLENEDEN BEACH, Ore. -- Two kids were accused of entering a vacation home in Gleneden Beach and setting it on fire, police said.

Deputies responded just before 5 p.m. Sunday to the report of a fire in the 6700 block of Glen Avenue, according to Lt. Dave Clarey of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators determined the home had been intentionally set on fire, and the damage was extensive, Clarey said. No one was hurt in the fire.

A 12-year-old boy from the Gleneden Beach area was arrested Wednesday in connection with the fire. He was lodged in the Lincoln County Juvenile Detention Facility on several charges, including arson and burglary.

On Thursday a second suspect, a 10-year-old boy from the Gleneden Beach area, was referred to the Juvenile Department in connection with the fire. He was released into the custody of his parents.
