SISTERS, Ore. -- A Portland man accused of drunken driving near Hoodoo Mountain Resort after one of his children called 911 from the backseat pleaded guilty Tuesday.
Michael Edward Stout, 47, was arrested on New Year's Day for reckless driving, reckless endangerment and DUII, according to Oregon State Police.
Stout's children were in the backseat of his Jeep and called 911 to report that he had been driving while intoxicated, police said.

Stout's blood alcohol content was measured at .20 percent. A trooper drove his children to Salem, where they were released into the custody of their mother.
Stout is scheduled to be sentenced on September 5. He declined comment to KGW regarding Tuesday's plea deal.
