BEND, Ore. (AP) -- The Deschutes County sheriff's office says a shot apparently fired by a man trying to hunt a deer went zipping over the head of a man working at a Bend cemetery.
Deputies went to Deschutes Memorial Gardens last evening after an employee reported hearing a shot whiz over his head and a man's shouts in the distance. The worker was not hurt.
Later a nearby resident was arrested for investigation of unlawful use of a weapon, reckless endangering, disorderly conduct and hunting during prohibited hours.
