HILLSBORO, Ore. – A jury in Hillsboro found 34-year-old Paul Joseph Sanelle guilty in the beating death of his girlfriend.
Sanelle was arrested for the April killing the woman, who was found unconscious in their apartment.
The 26-year-old victim lived Sanelle and another woman in an apartment in the 15800 block of NW West Union Road, according to Sgt. Bob Ray of the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
"It appears that (she) was the victim of domestic abuse and that she was assaulted over a period of time, and ultimately died of her injuries," Ray said.
Sentencing was set for Nov. 15.
