HILLSBORO -- An armored police vehicle broke down on its way to a mission Wednesday morning, said Washington County sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Rob Ray.
Called the V150 Tactical Vehicle, it was towed away from Main and Adams near the main post office.
The rig was on the way to help officers in a raid at a Hillsboro home that was part of a fraud case being investigated by the FBI and FITE, the Fraud and Identity Theft Enforcement Team made up of Washington County law enforcement agencies
The FBI declined to comment on the case other than to confirm that agents were at the home Wednesday morning.
The early morning raid started with the use of "flash-bang" grenades designed to startle people in the home, allowing officers a safer entry, Ray said.

Ray said there have been no arrests at the home, but that officers seized "a great deal of evidence."
He said there was no danger to neighbors from the activity in the home.
