PORTLAND – A 16-year-old faces attempted murder and assault charges for a shooting in Beaverton last fall.
Portland police arrested Gustavo Portillo Soto last week.
He was accused in the November 23 shooting of 19-year-old gang member Juan Guevara near SW 124th Avenue and SW Allen Boulevard.
At the time, officers arrived to find no victim, suspect or witnesses.
The victim later showed up at St. Vincent’s Hospital and told police he had been shot while in Portland on SE 82nd Avenue.
Guevara was treated and released from the hospital. .
