BEAVERTON – Police we looking for a man wanted in connection with a string of burglaries in the Portland area.

Jeffrey Christopher Lane, 33, was wanted on a felony warrant for burglary after he reportedly broke into Jesuit High School and also burglarized Biggi Plaza in Beaverton numerous times, said Mike Rowe with the Beaverton Police Department.

Police said he agreed to turn himself into detectives Friday, but instead went on the run, Rowe said. On Friday night though, Lane turned himself in.

Lane’s criminal history is lengthy, and he is considered a career criminal, Rowe said.

He is described as 6-foot-3, 225 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information was urged to call 9-1-1.
