PORTLAND -- Power has been restored for nearly all of the customers affected by a Wednesday morning outage.
More than 5,000 customers had lost power due to equipment failures in Multnomah and Washington counties, Portland General Electric reported.
A PGE spokesman said a construction crew severed a power line near Northwest Springville Road and Northwest Sickle Terrace at the PCC Rock Creek campus.
Repair crews were on the scene and expected to restore power to those customers by 11 a.m.
