HOUSTON—Foggy conditions caused nearly 100 vehicles to collide on Interstate 10 between Houston and Beaumont Thanksgiving morning, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The accident happened on I-10 East near Hamshire Road around 8 a.m., causing the highway to shut down in both directions.
Acadian Ambulance spokewoman Denise Richter said at least 35 people were transported to the hospital for treatment, according to KFDM.
