PORTLAND – A Portland musician is hoping Portland residents can help him find two guitars that were stolen from his car.

Brandon Cook plays in multiple bands, including Black N Blue, State of Balance and the Guns n Roses tribute band Appetite for Deception.

But a few days ago, Cook said the guitars, along with his pedal board and backpack, were stolen from his car.

“Two of my most important tools were stolen and I need them returned,” Cook said.

One of the stolen guitars was a 2007 Gibson Les Paul, the other a 1991 Jackson Stealth Professional Transparent Amber.

His pedal board included four pedals, and his backpack was brand new and contained his keys, electronic charger and vitamins.

“These aren’t things I make a million dollars with. These are things I put bread on my table with,” Cook said.

He posted the stolen gear on Craigslist, hoping to spread the word about the stolen gear.
