ST HELENS, Ore. -- A sternwheeler crashed into a pirate ship during a festival in St. Helens Friday, officials said.
The Sternwheeler Portland collided with the Royaliste pirate reenactors' ship while attempting to moor at the St. Helens Municipal dock, according to Nathan Bradshaw of the U.S. Coast Guard.
Both vessels were in St. Helens for the Maritime Heritage Festival.
No injuries were reported and no pollution resulted from the crash. The USCG was investigating.
