SALEM -- A Salem woman was found guilty Thursday of neglecting 16 horses on her property, while she was already on probation for attempted animal neglect.
Gabriel Elle Denison Buckner was arrested May 4, 2011, after Marion County Sheriff deputies investigated the report of diseased and emaciated horses on Skyline Drive SW, according to Jean Kunkle of the Marion County District Attorney's office.
"At the time of her Marion County arrest," Kunkle said. "Buckner was on probation for attempted animal neglect in the second degree in Deschutes County."
Thursday a Marion County jury found Buckner guilty on all counts. Her sentencing was scheduled for May 3.
