FOREST GROVE -- A prolific flower theft suspect has been arrested in Forest Grove.

Barry Foster, 48, was arrested on Thursday while trying to climb a fence on Poplar Street.  He's suspected in the theft of several potted plants as well as tools stolen from a garage.  Foster previously worked in the landscaping industry, according to Forest Grove Police Department Capt. Mike Herb.

Foster was arrested on burglary and theft charges and booked into the Washington County Jail. He's slated to be in court for a preliminary hearing on Friday.
