DONALD, Ore. – A memorial continued to grow outside the home of a 4-year-old boy killed by gunfire Saturday in the small town of Donald, Oregon.
Cody Hall died over the weekend and police have only said he suffered a single gunshot wound to the abdomen, and that there was no risk to the community.

Fellow preschoolers returned to North Marion Primary school Monday, and district superintendent Boyd Keyser said it was difficult for them to understand what happened to their friend.
"A lot of them had questions about it because there was a gun involved and because of all the violence that's been going on lately,” he said. “All the things they've been seeing on TV, with Boston, I think that just brought a lot of emotions to the surface."
He said teachers were prepared for some of the questions Cody’s classmates might have, but six of the students had to meet with counselors to talk about what happened.
