SALEM – Hundreds of people marched on the state Capitol Saturday for “Guns Across America,” a national movement in support of the Second Amendment.
Marchers took to the streets of Salem from noon to 2 p.m. carrying signs reading “outlaw guns and only outlaws will have ‘em,” “freedom,” and “It’s a right for a reason”.
The rally, which saw marches all over the country, was in response to president Obama’s recent proposal to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.
