SHERIDAN, Ore. – A man died and four others were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 22 near Sheridan Saturday, police said.
At around 6:30 p.m., 41-year-old Marcos Luz of Woodburn traveled across the centerline in his 2003 Ford van and collided with an eastbound 2000 Toyota sedan driven by 69-year-old Clifford Fagaly, said Lt. Gregg Hastings with Oregon State Police.

After the impact, the Toyota went into a ditch and the Ford van stopped in the westbound lane. Shortly after the crash, 51-year-old Lonny Bryant crashed into the van in his Dodge pickup, sending the van into a ditch, Hastings said.
Fagaly’s passenger, 85-year-old Kerttu Fagaly was taken to a Salem Hospital in critical condition.
