The theme for this year was "Tattoo Portland." Nearly 20,000 begonias, impatiens, pansies and more were arranged in the shape of a giant heart with a Portland banner over it. The design was created by landscape architecture firm Lango Hansen.
The art was displayed for two weeks, and the flowers go on sale at 8 a.m. Wednesday. The 4-inch flower pots are $1 each and black mondo grass will be sold for $3 per pot.
