VANCOUVER -- A driver plowed through some bushes and hit the back of a Vancouver family’s home early Friday morning.
Just after 6 a.m., 19-year-old William Porter reportedly missed a stop sign near Northwest 26th Court and Northwest 99th Street, sending him careening into the home, police said.
Porter then took off running, but didn’t get far before police nabbed him.
Inside, the Lozner family was with their newborn baby.
“It sounded like it was inside our house, so it was really scary,” Paige Lozner said.
Porter was arrested for DUI.
No one in the home was hurt.
