BEND, Ore. (AP) — Police in Bend, Ore., say a 32-year-old man accused of fatally shooting a male guest at his home has been arrested for investigation of murder.
According to KTVZ-TV (http://is.gd/tWGbQT ), Lt. Ben Gregory said Luke Anton Wirkkala was arrested Monday evening and held without bail in the early morning death of 31-year-old David Andrew Ryder.
In a statement, Gregory said the two men are known to each other but didn't provide additional details. An autopsy is scheduled Tuesday.
Police arrived at the home at about 2:30 a.m. Monday to find Ryder dead. Gregory said the software engineer was "an invited guest" at the home.
