REDMOND, Ore. (AP) — The Redmond City Council meets Tuesday night to consider spending $119,000 over the next three years on security cameras.
They would be installed around the city, mostly at parks, to deter vandalism and other crimes.
KTVZ reports (http://bit.ly/ZChrbv ) police would be able to monitor the cameras through patrol cars as well as at the station. The camera feeds also would be available to public works officials.
