EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say a 50-year-old man fired a shot that barely missed a motorist's head in a road rage incident in Eugene.
OSP Master Sergeant Lang Hinkle says the Lawrence Allen Michael fired the gun during the morning commute on Thursday near the Glenwood interchange.
The 41-year-old victim called 911 to report the incident, saying the suspect had taken the Glenwood exit off the freeway immediately after the shooting. Troopers checked parking lots in the vicinity and found a pickup matching the victim's description of the suspect's vehicle.
Michael was found at his job and arrested.
