Man caught on camera smashing car windows in Vancouver

Vandal hits homeowner twice in 2 weeks

VANCOUVER, Wash. -- A Vancouver man hopes you'll recognize a man seen in surveillance video smashing out a car's front and back windshield in a matter of seconds.

The incident happened late Thursday night, on Northeast 165th Avenue. The car belongs to Bill Haynes’ roommate.

Haynes has the video because someone vandalized his home two weeks earlier, by breaking his windows with rocks. He thinks the same man might be responsible for breaking the car windows.

He’s warning the neighborhood, and posted the video of social media, so neighbors can be on alert.

Haynes has reported this to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, and says a deputy finally gave him a call Wednesday morning.

Haynes' is also offering a $500 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
