Man with memory loss found safe in Vancouver

UPDATE: Police said Adams was located safe and reunited with his family.

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Police are asking for the public’s help with finding a 71-year-old man who went for a walk Wednesday afternoon but never returned home.

Samuel Adams has memory loss issues, according to Vancouver police.

He was last seen at his home near Southeast 177th Avenue and 12th Street at around 3 p.m., when he went on his walk.

Police said he is known to frequent area parks.

Adams was described as a 6-foot, 170-pound black man. He was last seen wearing a burgundy baseball hat and a gray sweater with the Oakland Raiders emblem on the front and back.

Anyone who sees Adams is asked to call Vancouver police at 360-487-7400.
