Vancouver woman arrested for vehicular assault

VANCOUVER, Wash. – A 30-year-old Vancouver woman was arrested on two counts of vehicular assault for her role in a crash that injured two people.

Fontella Hooper of Vancouver was arrested and booked on Thursday. The two victims from Wednesday night's crash, whose names have not yet been released, remain in the hospital. One has life-threatening injuries.

The crash occurred at around 7 p.m. Wednesday at East Fourth Plain Boulevard and P Street.

Police believe impairment was a factor.
