CORBETT, Ore. – A semi-truck driver was taken away by Life Flight after a crash in Corbett Tuesday afternoon.
The crash occurred at around 3 p.m. in the area of 2600 Northeast Corbett Hill Road, near Interstate 84. Deputies arrived and found the driver pinned in the truck, according to Lt. Chad Gaidos of the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office. The driver was extricated by medics before being flown to a Portland area hospital.
Corbett Hill Road is closed in both directions and expected to stay closed for a couple hours. The truck was not carrying hazardous materials and did not spill anything, Gaidos said.
