Missing Gresham disabled man could be danger to self or others

GRESHAM, Ore. -- A disabled man last seen six weeks ago could be a danger to himself or others, according to police.

The missing man, 36-year-old Hassan Abdulhadi Ibrahim. He was reported missing by staff at a mental health facility on May 11 after he hadn't been seen or heard from for six weeks. Ibrahim is not under court order to be housed at the facility, so he is allowed to leave and return when he wants.

The facility helps Ibrahim with his medication. Without his medication, Ibrahim can become angry, paranoid, prone to exposing himself and aggressive sexualized behaviors.

Facility staff indicate he reported having suicidal thoughts the last time he was seen.

Anyone who sees Ibrahim or knows where he is should call 911 or the Gresham Police tip line at 503-618-2719.
